My name is Imani Agbionu; I am 25 years old and from Washington, DC, where I was born and raised. I am an alumnus of George Mason University, also known as GMU, having earned my degree in Marketing. Before that, I attended Northern Virginia Community College, where I graduated in 2018, receiving my associate's in Business Administration. I am a brand associate at the women and girls activewear retail company Athleta, with a lengthy background as a social media assistant and content writer. I embarked on previous roles in university clubs such as Her Campus and the Society of Professional Journalists, they helped me endure the beginner’s qualities of a journalist. At the same time, helping me increase my abilities in writing, research, and more. As a graduate with profound skills, I will attend the University of Maryland to earn my master’s in journalism!
